Yadgiri

Yadgir town is the administrative headquarters of the newly created Yadgir district in the Indian state of Karnataka. On 10 April, 2010, it was officially declared as 30th district of Karnataka State. It is also the administrative headquarters of Yadgir Taluk, one of the three taluks of the district.The town is grown around the hill of forts. Long ago it was ruled by Yadav, which can be verified in the fort.
